****************UPDATED SERVICE INFORMATION******* Gino F. Dattilo, formerly of South Philadelphia, peacefully passed away on February 1, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side. Born on October 25, 1935 to James and Concetta (nee: Rocca) Dattilo, Sr. Proud United States Airforce Veteran. He worked as an insurance investigator with The Curley Adjustment Bureau, Inc. for over 50 years. Gino was a caring, loving, gentle man who always put his family first. His family always had an open-door policy and all were welcome. As busy as his career made him, he never missed a family event, commitment, or even family dinner. Gino was always proud of his children’s accomplishments. In his free time, he was a prolific reader and also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City to play games of chance, especially Craps. Beloved husband of 58 years to Janet (nee: Console). Loving and devoted father to Dr. GinaMarie Dattilo, James (Vicki) Dattilo and Maria (Bruce Parks) Dattilo. Dearest Pop Pop of Yamile Rosa, Jorge Diego, Kira Rose and Bruce Gino Zen. Brother of Mary Dattilo and Edward (Tina) Dattilo and the late Frank Dattilo, Millie Celli, James Dattilo and Joseph Dattilo. Also, survived by his sister in laws; Marie Dattilo and Joan Bronca, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Thursday morning, February 18, 2021 from 10:15-11am at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 9th & Watkins Sts. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am. Burial will follow in SS: Peter & Paul Cemetery.
