Francis "Frankie" Mangini
August 20, 1939 - November 12, 2020
Francis R. Mangini, affectionately known as Frankie. Peacefully passed away on November 12, 2020 at the Vitas at Methodist. Born to the late Frank and Helen (nee: Kedziera) Mangini and has been a life long resident of South Philadelphia. During the Vietnam Conflict he served in the European Theater with the Army. He was a graduate of Bishop Neuman- Southeast Catholic High School as well as graduated with a bachelor’s degree in American History from St. Francis College. Frank worked for the School District of Phila as a teacher at Southern High School. He enjoyed spending his days at the Turf Club talking with the staff and relaxing with his friends. Dearest friend to the Gedraitis Family. Relatives, friends, members of the Cherokee Club and friends and staff of the turf club (OTB) are invited to his viewing Wednesday morning from 9-10am at the Murphy Ruffenach, Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home, 2239 S 3rd St. Funeral Services 10am. Burial SS: Peter and Paul Cemetery. Memorial donations in his memory can be made to the PA Wounded Warriors, Inc. 1117 Country Club Rd. Camp Hill, PA 17011.
