Eva Pennock

EVA PENNOCK (nee Branton), age 88, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2019. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to John and Eva (nee Rutter) on March 13, 1931 and was also raised here. She is a retiree of the Philadelphia School District where she worked at the Horrace Furness High School as a secretary. Eva enjoyed spending summers at the Wildwood Beach, dancing, reading, fishing and crabbing but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late William J. of whom she was married to for 41 years. Devoted mother of Eva (the late Larry Sarner) Pennock, William (Gerri) Pennock and John Pennock. Dearest grandmother of Kerina (Tom) Ferrari, William (Kaite) Pennock, Kristy (Casey) Kampf and great grandmother of Connor Pennock. Sister of the late John and Joanne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Wednesday morning 10 AM at the Muphy Ruffenach, Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home (3rd & Wolf Streets). Funeral Home Service 11:30 AM with a period of remembrance to follow, where you are invited to share a memory of Eva. Burial will be held at a later date in Fernwood Cemetery.
