Vincent D. Zanghi

Vincent D. Zanghi, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021 at Methodist Hospital. He was a proud United States Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War in Saigon. Born on November 16,1946 to the late Salvatore Zanghi and Virginia Talio and has been a life long resident of South Philadelphia. "Zanghi" was a former employee of Sunoco where he worked as a truck driver. He was a loving, caring and giving husband, father and Pop who put his family before all others. He loved spending time with his family at the Jersey shore, whether it was just lying on the beach or walking the boardwalk these were great times which created a lifetime of memories. He enjoyed riding his Harley, driving fast trucks and taking care of animals. He is the beloved husband of 37 years to Lillian (nee: Barnes). Loving father to Vincent Zanghi, David Zanghi, Anthony (Valerie) Zanghi, Robert (Alexis) Zanghi, Michael (Samantha) Zanghi and Davona Zanghi. Proud Pop of Vincent, Anthony , Andrew, Courtney, Vincenzo, Nadia, Addison, Julian, Aubree, Michael and Madelina. Step son of Joseph Ogborn and brother Mark Ogborn. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Thursday morning beginning 10am at the Murphy Ruffenach, Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home, 3rd & Wolf Sts. Followed by his Funeral Home Religious Services 12:30pm. Burial private. Donations in his memory can be made to the American Liver Foundation, 1425 Pompton Ave. Cedar Grove, NJ 07009. Please observe all CDC Protocols in attending these funeral services.
