Tatiana "Tati" Vargas

Tatiana Vargas, lovingly known as "Tati" to family and friends. Tragically passed away on December 23,2023. Beloved daughter of Joseph (Vivian Hoang) Vargas and Tizana Scarsini and has been a life long resident of South Philadelphia. A graduate of Furness Highschool and has worked as a teacher for Nyman Association. Also, Tati enjoyed working evenings alongside her father in his family business, "South Philly Italian Kitchen" where she worked in the kitchen and waitressed as well. Family meant the world to her, and she deeply loved being a mother to her son. Tatiana had a big heart and was generous and giving to all those around her. In her free time, she looked forward to vacations to islands and her favorite place, Puerto Rico. Sadly, she will be missed by her son, Noah and his father Alfred Lind. Dear sister of Josephine Vargas, Joe-Joe Vargas, and Ceana Gonzalez. Maternal granddaughter of Bruna Scarsini. Dearest aunt to Gianna Santiago and Christian Hunter. Niece of David Vargas, David Scarsini, Margarita Vargas, Sonia Vargas and Goddaughter of Marisa Vargas. Tati will also be missed by her many cousins, extended family, and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Thursday eve from 6:30-8:30pm at the Murphy Ruffenach Brian W Donnelly Funeral Home, 3rd & Wolf Sts. Funeral Home services will begin at 8:30pm. Burial private. In keeping with her love of teaching and dedication to her students donations in her memory can be made to the St. Jude Research Hospital for Children, www.stjude.org>give .
