Steven R. Gurney

Steven R. Gurney passed away Peacefully on 8/23/2022 in the comfort of his home. Steven was born May 18,1957 to his parents the late Raymond Sr. and Maryann Gurney in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Stephen would live in Philadelphia for the remainder of his life, where he would go on to become an avid fan of all Philly sports teams. In his early years he worked in shop rite and at the spectrum for his favorite hockey team the Philadelphia flyers. When there were no games on the TV for Steven to cheer on, He would find Great Joy in watching Pro Wrestling. Steven will be remembered for his heart and all of the Love and care he gave to his family members and their children. Steven survived by his siblings Barbara (Raymond) McAllister, Christopher (Karen) Gurney, Donna (Cody) Ragler, and the late Raymond Gurney Jr, Margaret Gurney, Theresa Gurney, and Katherine Gurney. He also survived by his Nieces, Nephews, and cousins. Stevens family would like for everyone who knew and loved Steven to join them at his viewing which will take place on Tuesday evening august 30, 2022 at Murphy Ruffenach Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home at 6;30 pm, followed by religious services at 8:30 Pm. Burial will be held at a later date at resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations in his memory can be made "Think Pink for Pat", 211 Wolf St Phila., PA 19148.
