Robert Anthony Montano

Robert Anthony Montano Sr, "Bob" peacefully passed away on February 24, 2025, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 25, 1956, to the late Angelo and Jennie (nee: Vita) Montano and was raised in South Philadelphia. A retiree of Goodyear Tire Company located at Randolph and Oregon Avenue, where he worked as a manager for many years. Bobby loved the outdoors. He enjoyed going fishing, wrestling, attending monster truck and car shows, riding ATVs with his grandson, taking trips to the shore for weekends, and socializing with his friends at the garage. He had a huge heart and loved his family dearly. Sadly, he will be missed by the love of his life, Victoria McCaffrey; his children Marc Montano, Michelle Montano, Robert (Michele) McCaffrey Sr, and the late Michael Montano Sr and Robert Montano Jr. Proud pop of Robert McCaffrey Jr., Paige Montano, Jada-Marie McCaffrey, Michael (Kristen Corazo) Montano Jr. and Michaela Montano. Brother to Marie (Nick) Verbo and the late Frances (Nuszio) Colasante, Carol Montano, and Elizabeth McNiff. Brother-in-law of Sandra D'Alessandro, Charles "Chucky" (Sue Colasante) McCaffrey and Joseph McCaffrey. He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Friday morning from 9-10:30 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 3rd & Wolf Sts. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Burial private.
