Rita "Bobbi" LoBiondo

–

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Rita Veasey LoBiondo, 83, affectionately known as Bobbi, gained her angel wings peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving children on January 17, 2026.

Born on May 20, 1942, in Philadelphia, to the late Agnes Veasey (nee Kirsch). Devoted wife, loving soulmate, and lifelong dance partner of the late Frank LoBiondo Jr. Loving mother of Donnamarie (Sean) Mooney, the late Frank (Katheleen) LoBiondo III and Jim (Tina) LoBiondo. Bobbi was a cherished sister to the late Matthew Veasey and Agnes (Pat) Veasey. Proud Mommom of Erin (Rich) Bates, Sharon (Mike) Mooney, Kristin LoBiondo, April LoBiondo, Jim (Ashley) LoBiondo, Jr., Frank (Ally) LoBiondo IV, Dylan (Becca) LoBiondo, the late Jemma Love, Robert Love and Alyianna LoBiondo. Being a MomMom was one of the greatest joys of Bobbi's life. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Sean and Natalie Bates, Autumn LoBiondo, Penelope LoBiondo and many nieces, nephews, and cousins all whom she adored.

Bobbi was a passionate fan of Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Flyers and the Eagles. She was an amazing chef who loved to cook for her family, notably for her Jackson Street New Year's Day Open House where she famously served the greatest meatballs and bean soup in the city. While she was small in stature, she was a giant in strength and love, whose hugs will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, January 31 at 9am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 3rd and Wolf Street. Her Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am.Burial private
