Reslanieh Charaf passed away on February 13, 2026, at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. She was born on May 25, 1940, in Sweida, Syria, to the late Muhammad Charaf and Nofalia Nofel. In 1990, she relocated to the United States, where she continued to build her life around the people she cherished most--her family.
A simple woman with a profound love for her family, Reslanieh valued togetherness above all else. Her grandchildren were her heart and soul, and there was nothing she would not do for them. Her love was constant, unconditional, and deeply rooted in faith and tradition. A deeply spiritual woman, she exemplified her traditional core values through her selflessness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
She will be remembered as a loving wife to the late Nagib, and a devoted mother to Anwar, Sanaa, Ossama, Souha, Samaher, and to the late Samer Albarouki. She also leaves behind many devoted grandchildren, as well as beloved family members both in the United States and in Syria, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation and service on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Murphy Ruffenach Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home, 3rd & Wolf Streets. Burial will follow in Fernwood Cemetery.
Reslanieh's life was defined by her love of family, her quiet strength, and the lasting legacy of faith and devotion she leaves behind.
