Pompilio Joseph Miele Obituary (1930

Pompilio Miele, born December 10, 1930, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2017.A longtime resident of Chester, and the hearts of all who knew him, Pomp was married for 47 years to the late Grace Miele. He enjoyed a long career as a mechanic. After a hard day's work, he always had time for dinner with his family, and was soon busy repairing his own cars, or other people's, repairing televisions, building furniture, or re-engineering just about anything. Through it all, he kept his sense of humor, to the delight everyone who needed that smile. Long after retiring from the day job, he still enjoyed an active lifestyle, especially riding his bicycle.Pomp is survived by sons Robert (Deborah) and Richard (Sandy), daughter Angela, and grandchildren Patricia (Yiwei Zhang), Alex and Shayna Joy, brother William (Lucy), and his sweetheart, Jeanette Mackey.
