Patrick D. Hennessey

Patrick D. Hennessey, Sr. affectionately known as Pat. Passed away on November 14, 2020 at the Methodist Hospital. Born in Philadelphia and raised by his mother, the late Erma Rosenblatt (nee: Tyson) and he has been a life-long resident of the Whitman area of the city. Proud United States Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. Pat was a former employee of Samuel and Sons Seafood Company. Hell be remembered for his funny, witty sense of humor, for his talents at joke telling and for the love that he had for his wife, sons and grandchildren. Taking trips always included a quick stop to Atlantic City with a casino visit even when he was making his way to the Wildwoods. Beloved husband of 50 years to Nancy Hennessey (nee: Comly). Loving father of Michael Hennessey, Raymond (Nicole) Hennessey, Sr and the late Patrick Hennessey. Dearest pop of Raymond, Jr and Ryan Hennessey. Brother to Donald (Clara) Tyson, Nancy Halpin, Kenneth (Lorraine) Hennessey and the late Joyce Leonard and Carol McCoy. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Friday morning from 10-11:30am at the Murphy Ruffenach, Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home, 3rd & Wolf Sts. Funeral Home Religious Services 11:30am. Burial will follow in Forrest Hills Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be made to the PA Wounded Warriors Inc., 1117 Country Club Road Camp Hill, PA 17011.
