Pamela Perri

–

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Pamela A. Perri on June 27, 2025, at Thomas Jefferson Medical Center, with her devoted sister Donna and beloved niece Alexis by her side.
Pam was born and raised in South Philadelphia, the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn Perri (nee DeGregorio). From an early age, Pam embraced the strength and closeness of family, a value she carried throughout her life. She worked side by side with loved ones in the family's iconic business, "Shanks," where her warmth and laughter became a fixture. More recently, she found joy in her role at Pastificio Deli, where customers became extended family and her kind spirit made a lasting impression.
Pam had a generous heart and a fierce devotion to those she loved. She was a constant presence in her family's lives--supportive, selfless, and always ready with a smile or a comforting word. Whether soaking in the sun at the Jersey shore or trying her luck in the casinos of Las Vegas, Pam brought joy and laughter wherever she went. She also had a soft spot for her beloved fur babies--Sam, Rose, Max, and Snoop--who brought her endless companionship and comfort.
She was preceded in death by her dear brother Frank Perri Sr. and her precious niece Margaux Leuzzi, with whom she is now reunited in peace. She leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of those who survive her: her sister Donna Perri; her niece Alexis DelBuono; great nieces and nephews Miguel Rentas, Joseph Messina, Viena Messina, Mason Messina, and Frank Perri Jr.; her beloved aunt Esther (William) Polidoro; as well as her extended family of cousins and countless friends who were like family to her.
A gathering to honor Pamela's life will take place on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 10-11 a.m. at the Church of St. Monica, 17th & Ritner Streets, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be held privately.
Pamela's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and boundless kindness will never be forgotten.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
