Michael R White Jr.

Michael R. White Jr, lovingly known to family and friends as Smurf, peacefully passed away on May 22, 2025, in his sleep at home. Born on December 5, 1983, to his loving parents, Michael R. and Patricia (nee: Power) White Sr, and has been a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia. A graduate of St. John Neumann High School, class of '01. Michael was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed watching the Phillies, Sixers, and especially the Eagles play ball. He liked New Year's Day and the parade, and enjoyed marching with the Saints Club, Mike looked forward to sharing that day with his friends. He will be remembered for his quick wit, funny personality and how he would light up a room when he entered, Michael immediately became the center of the room. He never turned his back on anyone, especially those in need. Beloved brother of Kristal (Viny) Giorgio and dear uncle of Violetta and Viviana Giorgio. Companion of Jennifer Doane. Sadly, he will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Friday morning from 9:30-10:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30am. Burial private.
