Michael J Weiner, Sr.

Michael J Weiner Sr. Passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025 at the age of 65. Born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Dolores (Nee: McGuigan) Weiner. Michael was one of five children surviving as a loving brother to Susan Riding, Joann Weiner, the late Robert Weiner, & Brian Weiner. Growing up in South Philadelphia Michael would attend Our Lady of Mount Carmel grade school and would go on to attend Bishop Neumann high school. He loved all things sports growing up playing baseball, Football, and Basketball. He never missed a concert having a great love for all the bands that were touring through JFK Stadium. Michael found a career as a mechanic in pipe fitting for the Operating Engineers Union. He worked for many years, and on his time off he loved to fish and play softball for the many leagues the neighborhood had to offer. He will be missed by many for his outgoing and funny charm. Those who will miss him the most however are his family members. A proud father to his son Michael (Stephanie) Weiner Jr. He also is a loving grandfather to Madison and Maci Weiner. Sadly he will also be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Funeral services will be privately held. In Lieu of flowers, the family donations in his name to be made to the above-mentioned funeral home to assist with final expenses.
