Meishel M. Reid

Meishel M. Reid, entered into eternal life on September 8, 2020 at Taylor Hospice. A woman who truly made a difference in the lives of all those around her. Born in Sharon Hill, PA to the late Walter and Bernice Reid and was raised in Chester, PA. Meishel was a dedicated volunteer who was committed to City Team Ministries and was active within the Mother/Baby Program. The tireless hours she spent there made a difference in those families she helped. Also, she was a former employee of Apple Vacation where she traveled throughout the world. She will be remembered as a loving, caring, generous mother, partner, sister, aunt, cousin and best friend. She is the loving mother of Tyler Vest, Jmiyah Burrell and Gianna Burrell; dearest partner of Jamir Burrell. Beloved sister of Robert Alexander, Arnold Riggs, Clarice Williams, Carmella Johnson, Wendy Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Tiffany Reid, Walter Reid and the late Gregory Davis. Also, she will be sadly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends. All are invited to gather Friday, September 18,2020 from 9:30-10:25am at St. Katharine Drexel Church (1920 Providence Ave. Chester, PA 19013). Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am. Burial private.
