Mary Elizabeth Cannon

Mary Elizabeth Cannon (nee Dicks) passed away on June 11, 2017. Mary was a certified CNA who worked for the MidState Medical System. She spent the last 20 years working in Meriden, Connecticut. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family and friends and will be remembered for her generous and caring nature. She was very sympathetic to those who were at the end of their lives receiving care from her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Roseanne and her sister Rosemarie Cruz. Beloved aunt of Bernadette Cruz and Maria (Earl III) Robinson. Loving great aunt of Edward, Bianca, Victor and Rachel and cat mommy of Jessie, Dabber and Pepe. Also, she is survived by cousins, especially Peggy Sorge. Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Friday morning 9-9:50 AM at St. Philip Neri Church (218 Queen St.) Funeral Mass 10 AM.
