Marissa Ann Renzi Obituary (1983

Marissa Ann Renzi, Suddenly passed away on September 12, 2024, at the Cooper Hospital. Born on December 16, 1983 and has been a lifelong resident of Gloucester City. A graduate of St. Mary Grade School and Gloucester Catholic High School, class of '02. For the past 15 years, Marissa has worked for the Sicklerville Army Recruitment Center as a secretary and as a hostess on weekends at Vitali's Restaurant working alongside her mother Noreen. Family meant everything to Marissa; she took great pride in raising and sharing stories of her daughter's success. Marissa was a patriotic, genuine, loving, kind-hearted, smart, intelligent, dedicated, and vibrant person who was loved by all those whom she met. Being optimistic, she always had a plan for her success which she followed, and she also enjoyed playing practical jokes on everyone close to her. Holidays were always over the top mostly because of her extreme decorations. Marissa was proud of her Irish Heritage, and she showed it especially every year at the annual Gloucester City St. Patty Day Parade standing in her festive outfit and cheering on the participants as they marched by. Sadly, she will be missed by her best friend and loving daughter Mikayla; her fur child, Nala Mae; Her beloved parents, Michael and Noreen (nee: Nealon) Renzi; sister of Martin (Theresa) Renzi; Edward Renzi, Steven Renzi, and the late Richie Renzi. Beloved aunt of Ava, Olivia, Roman, and Christian. Also, she is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong dear friends, especially Veronica and Meghan who were more like sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday eve from 6-8 pm and again on Thursday morning from 9:15-10:20 am at St. Mary's Church, 426 Monmouth St. Gloucester City. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Burial will be private. Marissa's family wishes all donations be made to her daughter to assist with final college expenses.
