Linda "Lynne" Leary

Linda Joy Leary (nee: Lamaina), affectionately known as "Lynne", of Feltonville, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2020 at Thomas Jefferson Medical Center after a courageous battle with lung disease. Born on March 15,1960 to the late James P and Marie (nee: Morris) Lamaina, Lynne was a life-long resident of Philadelphia and graduated from Frankford High School class of 79. Lynne was an employee of Holy Redeemer Hospital where she worked as a surgical technician. Lynne will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, sister and aunt who was loved by so many. Her smile was always warm and she had a kind word for all. Lynne enjoyed spending weekends at the shore and also liked watching the cooking network and trying to make new dishes for her family and friends. Beloved wife and best friend of 36 years to Richard "Studs" Leary and "Dog Mom" of Tink. Loving sister to Maria (John) Winning, Teresa (Michael) Kelley, Monica (Robert) Adamson, James (Barbara) Lamaina, and the late Joseph Lamaina. Dearest "Aunt Lynne" to James, Kaitlyn, Liam, Albert and great aunt to Maia. She will also be sadly missed by her Godfather, Joseph Lamaina, aunts, uncles, cousins and by many good friends that she treated as family. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 10-11:20am at St. Ambrose Church (401 Roosevelt Blvd Phila.) Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30am. Burial private. Parking lot in rear of Church. Please follow all CDC protocols when attending these services.
