Lillian H. Dorner

Lillian H. Dorner, peacefully passed away on August 15,2023 at the Jefferson Hospital Washington Township Division. Born on January 10,1936 to the late Michael C. and Helen (nee: Dobzynski) Evers and has been a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia. For many years she worked as a packer at the Thomas Colace Company. Family and the Holidays meant the most to her and she loved to surround herself with family and grandchildren. Many of her days consisted of trips to the casinos in Atlantic City, especially Ballys to play wheel of fortune games of chance. Lillian was a huge fan of the show as well and rarely missed an episode. Pathmark and Kmart were regular shopping excursions for her, and she had a kind word for everyone who worked there daily. She will be remembered as a sweet, caring, loving, feisty lady who would do anything for her children and grandchildren. Beloved mother of Lillian Henderson, Helene Henderson, Carolyn Henderson, Andrew Dorner, Jim Dorner, Kelly Henderson and the late George Henderson and Michael Dorner. Proud and doting grandmom to 18 grandchildren and "little grandmom" to 26 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Mickey, Jackie and Joann. She will also be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Saturday morning from 8-10:15am at the Murphy Ruffenach Brian W Donnelly Funeral Home, 3rd & Wolf Sts. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial private. Family prefers donations in her memory to be made to The Smile Train, PO Box 96231 Washington, DC 20090-6231
