Joseph Iannuzzi, Jr.

Joseph N. Iannuzzi, Jr. lovingly known as either "Joe" or "Joe the Baker" to family and friends. Sadly passed away on April 28, 2025, at Temple Hospital surrounded by the love of his dear family. Born on October 17, 1956, to the late Joseph and Doris (nee: Hopkins) Iannuzzi, and has been a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia. Joe loved his neighborhood and enjoyed being a local baker making the best breads in the city. He was a huge Eagles Fan and a proud patriotic American who always wore his red, white and blues. Taking trips to Ocean City, Maryland, the shore, a distant state, he loved to take road trips any and everywhere. Family was his world, and he would do anything to help or protect them. In his spare time, he would build model cars, listen to and sing many Beatles classics. A tough love, generous, caring, loving father and pop-pop who enjoyed being sarcastic in his own way. Joseph was preceded in death by his beloved wife JoAnn (nee: Kline) Iannuzzi. Loving father of Joseph (fiancee Sindy Ortiz) Iannuzzi, Nicole Iannuzzi, Danny (Annette) Iannuzzi, Laura May Iannuzzi and Marie Druding. Proud Pop-pop of Amber (Frank Foglia), Gabrielle (Will Santana), Daniel, Diamonique, Nicolina, Tyler, Joey IV, and great Pop-pop of Antonio "AJ", Isabella, Jayce, Charlotte, Kailey, Mason, Emilia, Ana, and Leigh. Brother of Rosemarie (late Michael) Jordan and Patricia Longo. Sadly, he will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, and cousins, especially the McCaffrey Family, and by many dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Tuesday morning, May 6, 2025, from 10am-12 noon at the Murphy Ruffenach Brian W Donnelly Funeral Home, 3rd & Wolf Sts. Funeral Home Religious Services will follow, and burial will be held in SS: Peter & Paul Cemetery alongside his late wife JoAnn.
