Joseph M. Ellis

Joseph M. Ellis Jr., suddenly passed away on September 27, 2020. He was born and raised in Philadelphia and was an avid Philadelphia sports team fan who especially loved watching the Flyers play. Joe also enjoyed watching wrestling on the television. Beloved son of Joseph Ellis Sr. and Bernice Callsen. Loving brother of Kyra Ellis and dearest grandson of John Callsen and the late Bernice, Charles (Nancy) Ellis Sr. and Joanne (nee: Morrone). He will also be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles; Charles (Ann) Ellis Jr., Christine (Daniel) Switliski, Denise (late Matthew) McNamara, Anthony Ellis, David (Wanda) Ellis, John Callsen and by many great nieces, nephews, cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Tuesday morning, October 6, 2020 from 8-10am at the Murphy Ruffenach, Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home, 3rd & Wolf Sts. Funeral Mass 10:30am Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial private. Memorial donations can be made to his family to assist with final expenses.
