Joseph "Joe" D'Elia

Joseph A. DElia, lovingly known as Joe to family and friends. Peacefully passed away on January 2,2024 at the Thomas Jefferson Hospital. Born on June 21,1943 to the late Guido and Mary DElia and was raised in Southwest Philadelphia and later relocated to South Philadelphia. For many years Joe worked in the insurance industry as a title examiner. He was an avid football fan and loved to be with his wife. Together they enjoyed sitting on the North Wildwood Beach and walking on the Boardwalk and capping the nights off with a nice dinner. Beloved husband of 52 years to Patricia (nee: Martin) DElia. He was loved by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be privately attended by family, and he will be buried in Oakland Cemetery.
