Joseph D'Armi

–

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Joseph D'Armi--affectionately known as Joe, Pop, Joey$, or "Mr. Fix It"--was someone family and friends could always rely on when help was needed. He passed away peacefully at his home on January 9, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.

Born on December 18, 1960, to the late John and Victoria (nee Sabatino) D'Armi, Joseph was raised with pride in South Philadelphia. After marrying the love of his life, he settled in Washington Township, where he built a life grounded in devotion to family, a strong work ethic, and genuine generosity.

Joe dedicated 38 years of service to Sealion Metal Fabricators, where he worked as a foreman. Renowned for his "hands of gold," there was little he couldn't fix. He took great joy in teaching others, always eager to share his skills, knowledge, patience, and time so that others could learn and succeed on their own.

Above all, Joseph was a fiercely devoted family man. He found happiness in fishing and boating, riding his motorcycle, working on machines and engines, doing puzzles, taking road trips, gambling at casinos, and traveling both across the country and abroad. He also cherished quiet moments spent watching his beloved Hallmark movies. Generous, loving, caring, and blessed with a sharp sense of humor and delightful sarcasm, Joe left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Beloved husband of 29 years to Theresa (nee: Welch). Loving father to Daniel (Amanda) Miller, Christine Miller, Kelly D'Armi and her mother Kelly Miller, and by the late Richard (Kim Horvath) Miller. Proud and dearest Pop of Jakob Miller, Michael Horvath, Makayla Palmer, Landon Miller, Zaiden Miller, Lukas Palmer, Abby Miller, and Deacon Miller, and great-grandpop to Kaiden Miller.

Brother of Maria Manzoni, Victoria (James) Christodoulou, Phyllis (James) Pinto, and the late John (Karen) D'Armi. Brother-in-law of Charles (late Donna) Welch, Thomas (Sissy) Welch, Helen (Mitch) Mitchell, Katie (late Robert Dewees) Boris, and Mary (Joe) DeMay. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Murphy Ruffenach Brian W Donnelly Funeral Home, 3rd & Wolf Streets. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private.

Memorial donations in Joseph's memory may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
