Jeanette A Sbaraglia

–

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Jeanette A. Sbaraglia, a woman whose heart overflowed with love for her family and friends, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Born on September 21, 1943, to the late Edward "Big Ed" and Susan (nee DelGiorno) Olsen, Jeanette was a proud lifelong resident of South Philadelphia and a graduate of South Philadelphia High School, Class of 1961.
Jeanette lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and a deep devotion to those she loved. She cherished her role in the Red Hat Society, where she served as a former "vice-queen." Wearing her red hat with pride, she found joy in friendship, sisterhood, and the simple delight of being part of a spirited community.
Her greatest joy, however, was always her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Achille "Chille" Sbaraglia, the loving mother of Marc Sbaraglia, and the adoring Grandmom of Alexa and Luca, who were the light of her life. She was also a devoted sister to Edward "Rusty" (Barbara) Olsen and the late Daniel Olsen.
Jeanette's life was full of simple pleasures that reflected her generous spirit--whether it was trips to the casinos, a lively card game of "31" with friends, or sharing stories and laughter around the table. Family meant everything to her, and she embraced every moment with love and gratitude.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Murphy Ruffenach Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home, 3rd & Wolf Streets. Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m.
In keeping with Jeanette's joyful spirit and her love of community, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Red Hat Society at redhatsociety.com.
Her love, laughter, and warmth will remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
