Frank A "Mogey Brown" Marchiano Jr.

–

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Frank A. Marchiano, Jr., lovingly known as Mogey Brown to his family and friends, peacefully passed away on January 8, 2026, at St. Mary's Center, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on July 25, 1933, to the late Frank A. and Marie (Marino) Marchiano Sr., Frank was raised in South Philadelphia and attended Bok High School. He later moved to New Jersey to raise his family, always carrying with him the values, pride, and loyalty that defined his life.
Frank served as a federal police officer, working for the government at the Quartermaster in Philadelphia. Of all his jobs, however, his favorite was working for the Philadelphia Phillies, where he spent many years. He was admired and loved not only by his coworkers, but also by the fans in his section, who knew him as a familiar and friendly presence at the ballpark.
A devoted sports fan, Frank never missed a Phillies or Eagles game. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his buddies at the Turf Club, watching the ponies run. He was very computer savvy and enjoyed reading religious books.
Frank was a deeply religious man whose faith was central to his life. His family would especially like to thank Patricia Bauer for bringing him weekly communion. He was a loving, caring, sweet, and generous man with a huge heart, and he was fiercely loyal to his family, whom he cherished above all else.
He was the beloved father of Frank (Michele) Marchiano III and Stacy (Mark) Corroda; proud Pop Pop to Anthony (Jenna) Marchiano Sr., Amanda (Chad) Hagan, and Christopher Corroda; and great-grand Pop Pop to Anthony Jr. and Sonny Marchiano. He was the brother of the late Marie Cosenza.
Frank will also be sadly missed by his nieces Donna (Rocky) Moffo, Charlene (Richard) Vanore, and the late Michaele (David) Roselli, as well as his great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Relatives, friends, and coworkers of the Philadelphia Phillies Corp are invited to gather on Tuesday morning, January 20, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at St. Agnes Church, Coles Road and Little Gloucester Road, Peters Lane, NJ 08012. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Frank's memory may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
