Frances Kington

Frances Kington (nee: Johnson) passed away peacefully on April 22, 2021 at St. Monica Manor. Born on January 2, 1927 to the late Jacob and Florence Johnson, was a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia and worked for the Puritan Stationary Company for 30 years. Frances enjoyed her summers at Grande Woods and loved spending time with her grandchildren down the shore. She will be remembered as a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother. Beloved wife of the late George Jr. Loving mother of George (Maryann) Jr., Thomas (Marie) and Kim (late "Dukie" Alphonse) Norbutas. Grandmother of Thomas (Jessica) Kington, Brooke (Brian) Myers, Kelly (Paul) Phillips, Jade (Josh) Givner, Graham (Ashley) Kington, Adam Norbutas, Ian (Toni) Kington and great grandmother of thirteen. Funeral Services will be held privately by family with Burial in SS: Peter & Paul Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Katie Kirlin Fund, 229 Wolf Streets, Phila., PA 19148.
