Eileen Polidori

–

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Eileen Polidori peacefully passed away on January 16, 2026, in the comfort of her home. Born on September 8, 1959, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert (Rosemary) Hampshire and Helen ((nee Miller) Joseph) Harvey and a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia.
Eileen was a proud and devoted mother and grandmom who adored her family and took great pride in all their accomplishments. A true fighter, she faced life's challenges with strength, resilience, and determination, bravely battling cancer while always making the best of every situation. Though her life was not always easy, Eileen met it head-on with courage and grit.
She was a simple lady at heart who enjoyed a shot and a beer, the excitement of the Mummers Parade, and cheering on her beloved EAGLES. A cat lover with a special place in her heart for animals, Eileen was strong-willed, fiercely independent, and unwaveringly loyal to her children.
She was the loving mother of Dwight (Michelle) Clark Sr. and Tara (Roy) Stewart, and the dearest Nanny to Dwight Jr., Mia, Harper, Bryce, and London. Eileen was a beloved sister to Carol (Anthony) Seeley, Mary (Larry) Davis, Joseph (Gerri) Harvey, Frank Hampshire, Thomas Hampshire, Philip Hampshire, and Kathleen (Bob) Hakim. Eileen was predeceased by her brother Robert Hampshire and sister Ethel Hampshire. She was also the cherished godmother of Stacy Smith and Anthony Seeley Jr.
Eileen will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives she touched with her strength and authenticity.
Funeral services will be private.
