In Loving Memory of Denise "Necie" Hopkins June 29, 1957 - October 4, 2025 With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of Dennice Hopkins, affectionately known as "Necie" to all who loved her. Denise passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 4, 2025, at Echalon Care and Rehab in Voorhees, New Jersey. Born on June 29, 1957, in Camden, New Jersey, Denise was the beloved daughter of the late Gerald (Janice) Draper and Geraldine (nee Eskridge, Bill) Stevens. She spent her entire life in New Jersey, where she filled her days with laughter, kindness, and the simple joys that made life sweet. Denise had a heart for all living things--especially her cherished cats--and her love of animals reflected her gentle and caring spirit. She had a flair for fashion, a sparkle in her eye when shopping, and loved the thrill of a good casino trip. But above all, Denise treasured the company of family and friends. Her feisty spirit, quick wit, and boundless love made her unforgettable to everyone lucky enough to know her. She was the devoted wife of Barry Hopkins, and the loving sister of Frank (Lisa) Draper, Joseph Capone, Michele Draper, Todd Draper, Dena (Howard) Capone, and the late Steve Draper Sr., Deanna Draper, and Michael Draper. Denise's love also lives on in her many nieces and nephews, and she is reunited in Heaven with her beloved niece Moria Draper and nephew Steve Draper Jr. She will be dearly missed by her dear friends and caring neighbors, and the family extends heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Raymond for the kindness and support he showed throughout her illness. Though her passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, Denise's laughter, warmth, and loving presence will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Funeral services will be private at this time.
