Charlotte "Char" Farlow

Charlotte E. Farlow-Smith, "Char", Passed away on February 13,2020 at her daughters residence, with her family by her side. She was born to Louis and Clara (nee: Betham) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was also raised there. In her later years she has lived in New Jersey. To Charlotte family meant everything. One of her favorite places to visit was Walt Disney World, a trip she made often to see Mickey, her favorite Man. Char loved to visit with her family and enjoyed the time they spent together. Char was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, never passed up or start a "Happy Hour" and loved to entertain and decorate her house for the holidays. Everything in her home and others homes she visited always needed to be organized and in a special place. She always managed to brighten the lives of those around her, and was a loving and caring mother, mom mom, and sister. Char will be sadly missed by her children: Karen (Joseph) Smith, Louis (Lisa) Pessa and Kimberly Pessa. She is the beloved mom mom to 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Dearest sister of Nancy (Richie) Cannistraci and Lois Farlow. Charlotte is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Wednesday eve 6-8:3pm at the Murphy Ruffenach, Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home, 2239 S. 3rd Street Phila. A "Period of Remembrance", where all are invited to share will follow at 8:30pm. Burial private.
