Carmina Petrone

Carmina Petrone, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2022 with her daughters by her side. Born on April 10, 1933 to the late Boniface and Pilar Suarez and has been a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia. For many years she worked at Gooey Looies Deli in the heart of Pennsport. Loved spending Christmas in Disney with her husband and girls and summers at the Oceanside Hotel with her friends in North Wildwood. She enjoyed the simple things in life, was a traditional South Philly mom, wife and neighbor. Carmina was loving, caring and devoted to her family and enjoyed helping raising her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Peter. Loving mother of Debra (Corey) Petrone and Denise (Larry) Meenan. Dearest grandmother of Brendan Meenan, Delanie Meenan and the late Derek Galbraith. Great grandmom of Milania Galbraith. Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Wednesday evening from 7-9 PM and again on Thursday morning 9-10:30 AM at the Murphy Ruffenach Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home (3rd & Wolf Streets). Funeral Home Service 10:30 AM. Burial Fernwood Cemetery.
