Rita M. Roach

January 14, 1947 - December 3, 2021

Rita M. Roach, of Browns Mills, New Jersey. Peacefully passed away on December 3, 2021 at Virtua Hospital in Willingboro, NJ. Born on January 14, 1947 to the late Francis and Marie (nee: Donadieu) Kappel in Philadelphia, she then moved to Mt. Holly with her family. Rita spent many years working for the United States Government as a civilian GS5, during which she was very involved in working with the Counrty Lakes Emergency Squad, where she was a previous President as well as local fire stations with providing support. Her life was dedicated to helping others whether at work or at home, always giving unconditional love to those around her and supporting them in all they did. Nicole her daughter even remarked that “she was the best mother any girl could have”. She had a knack for making Holidays special in their own unique ways. In her free time Rita was an Avon Representative, enjoyed camping and traveled with the family on what turned out to always be history trips, loved Koala Bears, the Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles. Beloved wife and best friend of 45 years to Harry William Roach. Loving and devoted mother to Nicole (Christopher) Roach-Stephan and her grand furbaby Macy. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Monday morning 9:30-10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 260 High St., Mt. Holly, NJ 08060. Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30.
