Patricia B. Whittaker, affectionately referred to as “Toots” by her husband. Suddenly passed away on April 9, 2021 at the Methodist Hospital. Born on January 8, 1945 to the late John J. and Helen (nee: McDonald) Morley and graduated from St Maria Goretti High School, Class of 1963. At the age of 23, she met and married the love of her life, Raymond with whom she created a beautiful life and raised two daughters. Her desire to nurture and help others led her to work as a “Transport Escort” for patients at St. Agnes Hospital where she enjoyed her job and made many friendships. Pat will be remembered for her zest for life, kindness and warm spirit. She was caring and fiercely devoted to her family. She adored her grandchildren. Her and her husband loved the time they spent together at the Delaware shore in their summer home. She planted the most beautiful flowers in her garden. Together they enjoyed boating on Toots, sitting on the bench at Serenity Point, crabbing, and creating memories that would last a lifetime. Pat and Ray loved to travel the world. She will be greatly missed by her best friend and husband of 52 years, Raymond R. Whittaker. Loving mother of Patricia (James) Gorman and Susan “Susie Q” (Jonathan) Whittaker-Potts and devoted Mom-Mom of James and Avery Gorman and fur Mom-Mom to Ginger and Cole. Sister of the late Jack Morley. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Theresa Morley, nephews, Michael Morley and Matthew (Kathy) Morley and by cousins, Bobby (Kristy) Kazelskis Robin (John) Thompson and Lisa (James) Banning. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Thursday morning from 8:30-10:45. Funeral Mass 11 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to Roman Catholic Crew Parents Association: Forward to the Treasurer John Pagano at 3720 Spruce Street #122, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
