Nicholas "Nicky" Ferrante

May 8, 1978 - December 3, 2021

Nicholas Ferrante, known by family and friends as “Nicky” suddenly passed away on December 3rd 2021. Born May 8th 1978 to the late Frank and Gail Ferrante and has been a life long resident of South Philadelphia. He attended Taggart Elementary and Furness High School. In his younger years he played football for Capitolo and was known as “Nicky Feet” because of how fast he could run. Football always remained a love of his as he enjoyed watching the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles play, also he enjoyed his fantasy football league. He was well loved by those in his “5P” neighborhood. Nicky had a heart of gold and always put his family first. He was always quick with a one liner that would make the whole room laugh. He will always be remembered as the most loving, caring, and giving person. Beloved brother to Paula Slivinski, Raymond (Linda) Weikel, Francis Ferrante, Jennifer Ferrante, and Rosalie (Terell) Welch. Dearest Uncle to Shannon (William Ray) Adams, Emily Slivinski, Alexander, and Christian Welch and Great Uncle to Mia Ray. He will also be sadly missed by his Uncle, Richard (Sheila) Quigley, Cousins, good friends, and Precious his beloved cat. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Thursday morning from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the Murphy Ruffenach Brian W Donnelly Funeral Home 3rd and Wolf Streets. Funeral home religious services will follow at 11:30 am. Burial private.
