Margaret R. Lippi

Margaret R. Lippi, affectionately known as "Peggy" passed away peacefully on December 17, 2022 in the comfort of her own home. Born on July 26, 1938 to the late Peter and Margaret (nee: Myers) Endres and has been a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia. She graduated from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel grade school and Hallahan High School "Class of "1957". She was a traditional loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who would do anything for her family. Was an avid sports fan, especially the Flyers and Eagles and loved watching her Hallmark Movies. Margaret was a kind, amazing Mom who provided for her family and was the best Christmas gift giver even when times were difficult. She would always put others first and never let anyone go without. Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Lippi of 60 years. Loving mother of Donald (Sharon) Lippi, James (Tracey) Lippi, Lisa McBride, Linda Lippi and the late Margaret Lippi. Mom Mom of Michael, Amanda, Marc, Donna, Jamie, Avery, Nicholas, Tiffani Amber and Joseph. Great Grandmom of Gianni, Josh, Lucas, Cody, Olivia, Malan and Emmerson. She will be sadly missed by her brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 8-10:45 AM at the Murphy Ruffenach, Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home (3rd & Wolf Streets). Funeral Mass 11:15 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will be held in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
