Lynnace L. Holley

Lynnace L. Holley, affectionately known as “Nacey” passed away on May 16, 2022 at the Thomas Jefferson Hospital. She lived throughout Philadelphia and at the age of 15 moved to South Philadelphia. Lynnace worked for many years for the Philadelphia Library at 19th & Vine Streets. Born to the late Louis and Catherine (nee: Holland) Stevenson and was the foster daughter of Sheila (Paster Leon) Pace. She enjoyed watching musical and horror movies, Marvel series, going to the movies with her husband, doing crosswords, puzzles and crocheting, she also had a great voice and loved to sing. These last three years Lynnace has been sickly and has been confined to her bed. To all who knew her, she was an intelligent, caring, giving and loving person. Beloved wife and best friends of 17 years to Joseph W. Holley. Mother of Antonina Mack, Devon Stevenson and Leslie Jacobs. Sister of Karen Young El and the late Louis Stevenson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her Gathering on June 4, 2022 from 12-1 PM at the Church of Philadelphia (1629 Snyder Avenue, Phila., PA 19145). Funeral Service 1 PM. Burial will be held at a late date. Donations in her memory may be made to Homeless Ministry of the Church at the above-named church.
