Jacqueline "Jackie" Bertrand

November 8, 1948 - April 24, 2019

Jacqueline A. Bertrand (nee: Lange), “Jackie”. Passed away peacefully on April 24, 2019 at the Methodist Hospital. She was born and raised in South Philadelphia and was a former employee of Maglio’s. Jackie was a very devout catholic who never missed a mass and was proud to be a part of the “Legion of Mary” at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She always had a kind word for all those whom she met in her daily travels. She is preceded by her husband, Ralph Sr and her son Ralph, Jr. Jackie will be sadly missed by her daughter Donna McCloskey. Dearest gram-mom of Ralph III, Justin, Maria (Tim) Bowdren, Alex (Samantha) Castellano and Jennifer (David) Trautz; great grand-mom of Christian, Kaitlyn, Adam, Elijah, Jacob, Damien and Caleb. Sister of Ernest Lange, Adrianne Scevoli, Diane Lange-Pupko and Darlene Lange. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Wednesday morning from 9-10am at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 9th & Watkins Sts. Funeral Mass to follow, 10am. Burial SS: Peter & Paul Cemetery.
