Doris R. Wolkowicz Peacefully passed away on February 1, 2022 at home with her devoted granddaughter by her side. Born on February 25,1928 to the late James and Rita (nee: Merritt) O’Brien and was raised in South West Philadelphia. Where she was very active in St Barnabas Parish working closely with her late husband, Leonard who was the parish Deacon. She was a simple proud Irish lady who valued the simple things in life, such as going out for dinners, especially at the Erin’s Pd all the while enjoying her favorite drink, the High Ball. Doris simply loved life and enjoyed watching court television and rooting for the Eagles and all the other Philly Sports teams. Mother of Donna Wolkowicz and Robert Wolkowicz. Beloved gram of Tara Rose Wolkowicz. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Tuesday, February 8,2022, precisely 11am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive Secane, PA 19018. We will be meeting at the Church parking lot to organize our Funeral procession beginning 10:30am. Burial will follow in SS: peter & Paul Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to the above-mentioned Church.
