Daniel J. Scavola III, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2021 at the Thomas Jefferson Hospital. He was born and raised in South Philadelphia and worked with his parents at Daniel and Lucille (nee: Tuso) Grocery Store, located at 7th & Ritner Streets. Daniel enjoyed talking about politics and was an avid fan of the Beatles. He was a devout Christian and will be remembered as a funny, witty, caring, devoted husband, father and grandpop. Beloved husband of 26 years to Anna (nee: Tupper) Scavola. Loving father of Fred (Sam) Cook and grandpop of AJ, Gabe, J Byrd and Cordy. Brother of Candy Scavola. He is also survived by a host of other family and friends. Funeral Services to be announced.
