Ann Lynn Huaccamayta

Ann Lynn Huaccamayta, affectionately known as “Anna Banana” by family and friends, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2021 at the Vitas Hospice. Born to the late John F. and Elizabeth (nee: Fulmer) LaMotta and has been a resident of Philadelphia and Atlantic City, New Jersey. Relaxing on the beach brought her peace and comfort. Ann was an avid Phillies sports fan. She was a warm caring mother who always seemed to be seen as a second mother to many of the younger generations around her. Her home always had an open-door policy and all were welcome to stay, eat or just talk. Her son said she brought joy and light to those around her. Some of Ann’s attributes were having a heart of gold, generous with time and talents, loving and dedicated to family and friends. Beloved mother to John Francis Gensollen and Elliot Miguel Castillo. Loving sister of James LaMotta, Donna LaMotta and John (Felicia) LaMotta. Dearest aunt to Robert, John and Erika, Also Ann Lynn will be sadly missed by her cousins and many extended families. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Friday morning from 10-10:50am at the Church of the Epiphany of Our Lord, 11th & Jackson Streets. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am. Burial will follow privately in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to assist with final expenses.
